CAPDsupport is a place where individuals, parents and family members can gain understanding and support while living with Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD).

We offer preschool for children ages 2.5-5 years old with language delays. Children with hearing loss, speech or language delays are served in our integrated language rich classroom. (Children in diapers accepted). The program is language focused in a private christian school setting. Sign language, cued speech and spoken English is used.

This school is an education facility for children and young people who have a moderate to severe intellectual disability.

The criteria for a placement at the Glenleighden School is very specific and requires a diagnosis of a severe communication disorder and / or an ascertainment or a profile (Education Adjustment Process) of Speech Language Impairment at levels 5 or 6, approved by an external educational authority. (i.e. Education Queensland, ISQ or Catholic Education) for children over 6 years of age. It is important to note that places allocated are dependent on vacancies, availability of government funding and other factors.
